CL Hits the Road Again

Got a message from CL's DEH yesterday. He's saying she has sent him an email and is no longer in the US. He said she is back in Romania. So, the first question is: Is this the truth or is she trying to throw him off track? If it is the truth, why? Gotta call him today and get the scoop!

Crazy Lady Part 3

For God's sake! She just called again. She wanted to tell me that she didn't want me to give her DH more information about her (I may be forgetful, but I'm not THAT forgetful!). Then she went on to say (again) that he beat her very badly and that he wants to kill her (obviously she's off her meds). That I shouldn't give him her address because she just wants her son to be with her and be safe. She also added that she's not trying to "break" my family (I'm assuming she means that she's not after my DH). She also plans on emailing her DH (so hopefully he'll leave me alone).

It's rather amusing. Ok, so I don't know her DH well, but he's never talked about her in anger or say anything like he wants to get revenge. I do recall that when she went off her meds in the past she had delusions that some old lady was trying to kill her.

I hope to god she doesn't start calling me as often as she calls her kid!

Crazy Lady Part 2

So she called me. I was on the phone but she left a message (in English) for me to call. I called her back and...She started off by thanking me for taking care of lo, then asked if I had given her number to her DH. Of course I said yes so she asked why. I told her I gave it because he asked and that he needed to talk to her regarding the divorce. She then went on to tell me how he beat her and she didn't want to every talk to him and then she asked if I would refrain from giving him any more info. I told her that was fine. After all, I gave him the info he needed (her phone and addy) so, as far as I'm concerned, I'm done. It was rather amusing though. And she kept saying that she wasn't my enemy. Tee hee! Definitely made my evening more eventful. :)

Crazy Lady

She's been served! Tee hee! The scoop is that she has her own apt in NC. Rent is around $600, but she may qualify for gov assistance based on her $7/hr wage. Has an actual phone number as well. Anyway, she was served today in the new apt so it'll be interesting to see if she calls my DH to bitch about it. :) Her DH called me. Apparently she's telling everyone that he beat the hell out of her. He said he slapped her and grabbed her hair to keep her from leaving. However, since she kept screaming bloody murder he let her go. During the row she scratched the crap out of him so when the police came to take pics of both of them HE'S the one covered in blood. He's going to either call or write her soon to try to get his things back, but I doubt he'll have much luck. Interesting timing since she should be running out of her meds soon. I feel sorry for the residents of the nursing home she works at. Everyone could be in danger once the meds run out. I'm also not sure in what capacity she's working. Her DH was saying she had taken some sort of nursing classes (I'm guessing nurse's aid based on the length of the classes), but she's not licensed in NC according to their nursing board (nor is she licensed in FL). She may very well be a janitor. Either way it's amusing since apparently she complained to her DH about how much she hated nursing home work. She'd be better off working at a mental hospital since she's so familiar with the inner workings of them. ;)

So, now it's up to INS (ok, I know...USCIS) and her job to determine whether or not she'll be deported. One can only hope!

Our future is bright

I was reading a comment left on a news story. A piece of art valued at $3000 was stolen and returned years later. This chick writes something to the effeft of 3000K being a lot of money for this art. Someone pointed out that if it was 3000K (and not $3000) it would be a lot. So she writes back that she actually meant to write 3000G. Maybe I'm being anal, but how the hell can someone be so stupid?

So much for a happy household

so DH sends me an email today. he got CL's address. apparently she has a real job now. he tells me to make sure her hubby doesn't let on that he got the addy from us. he's worried that she might...I have no idea what he's worried about. he got all bitchy with me about why I believe some stranger over her. he goes on and on defending her. he says he's only thinking about what's best for lo. he hates ho every time lo goes to see her he comes home crying because dear old dad is with someone else. whatever. if he's so concerned for his kid's happiness maybe he should've stayed married to the CL. i have no idea why he thinks he's getting the whole truth. i also have no idea why he thinks that lo seeing her is in his best interests. i mean, she sleeps with him, lets him do what he wants, lets him eat candy for his meals, doesn't discipline him ever, isn't consistent about takings her anti-psychotic meds, tried to guilt lo into saying he wants to live with her, trashes me to lo at every opportunity. we don't know what kind of neighborhood she lives in or whom she lives with. And yet having lo see her is in his best interests? wtf? AND, we have arguments EVERY time DH talks to CL. her whole point is to get back at me for breaking up their "perfect" family and he's totally buying into it. he asked if i'd be able to live with myself if i caused her to take her life. why would that bother me? if she was gone permanently we'd all be better off. he seems to think that if she gets deported she'll harm herself. not my problem. maybe she should've thought about the consequences when she decided to lie to everyone. totally pieces of shit...BOTH of them.

Busy as a Bee

Ok, an excuse, but I have been fairly busy. ;) Turns out lo is not dying of Lyme Disease like he claimed Sunday. What a surprise. :P He really needs to try out for drama club!

Ants! Those tiny black ants are back. I hate them! I've sprayed the perimeter of the entire apartment yet they are still everywhere! It's desensitizing so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Still, gross!!!! (And, yes I am exaggerating; I'm really only finding the odd one here and there, but it's still vexing!)

My sister is leaving me...the bitch! Just kidding! :) I'm glad B has been given such a great opportunity and I know that they will both be very successful in their endeavors. I just wish they weren't moving so far away. Ok, it's not like they're moving to Japan, but still...with gas prices what they are it would probably cost me as much to fly to Japan that it will to drive to their new location. Maybe if I get another break from lo we can make a vacation out of it.

House is coming along. Slab and footings are in. Framing started this week. Meeting Monday to get a better timeline.

Work sucks. Lovely new position they gave me. Or at least it would be if they actually gave me control over it rather than let others run my show. At least the degree program is fast-paced so I'll have more leverage. If they refuse to hand over the reins I'll have to move on.

Speaking of reins...my baby is really improving nicely. :) We're back to ground work but it's really paying off. His confidence is back and he's enjoying his work. YAY!

Crazy Lady has dropped off the radar again. Who knows what's going on! Maybe the chick she's living with has rules that she doesn't like or maybe the chick she's living with has cut off her use of the phone. Wouldn't it be great if she got herself in a really bad situation?! Like those stories of people who enslave illegals for years...Terrible to say, I know, but I really loathe her and I can't say I'd be sad if she met a sad fate. Of course, she may just resurface here too. Can't really anticipate the actions of a psychotic person...
